Developers will pay you $10,000 to remove the Loring-McMartin (also referred to as the Vermeulen house) from a Kalamazoo historic site. The approximately 704 sq. ft. Greek Revival structure was built in the 1840s and later expanded to 1296 sq. ft. The structure is 1 ½ stories of painted brick. For the past 150 years, the building has been occupied mostly by the same family. The last resident left in 2016.
