Collections Officer

Collections Officer – Growing finance company looking for addition to the Collections Department. Duties include payment processing, drafting necessary documents, contacting customers by phone and email at peak times, ability to work individually and as a team to achieve all collections goals set forth by senior management.

Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional work environment
- Demonstrate knowledge of the collection process
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Complete a thorough and organized customer portfolio
- Present a warm and welcoming environment
- Maintain accurate records of action being taken on all accounts
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Promptly answer inbound calls
- Greet and assist all customers
- Filing
- Update all customer information such as residency, phone and employment changes

Relationships & Roles
- Meet or exceed all activity standards for collection cases
- Set a positive example in the areas of personal character, organization and attention to detail
- Demonstrate ability to interact, communicate and cooperate with all company employees
- Provide timely feed back to management
- Demonstrate punctuality and willingness to have flexibility with schedule

Job Specifications
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to work within a team environment
