I am a bass player. My bro is a drummer. and since this seems to be an issue, I am in my 60s and Kevin is in his 50s. Since that's out of the way, read on if you desire. We have 30+ years of experience. We are both lead vocalists, capable of doing backup harmonies. We are looking for one or two guitarists who want to put together a classic/current rock (a little country is ok) band. I have a name in mind, but that is open for discussion. We would like it if the guitarists are capable of singing leads and harmonies, also. We do not have a PA nor do we have a rehearsal space. Neither of us smoke tobacco. We would prefer a clean, non-tobacco smoking environment to rehearse. We want to work as much as possible; at least 2 weekends a month. More would be better. We ask that you be open to learning new things. Some of my tunes that I (Johnny, bass) sing lead on: Twilight Zone, I Want You To Want Me, Surrender, Kryptonite, Banditos, My Own Worst Enemy, Basket Case, American Idiot, Paralyzer, Hysteria, The Break Up Song, Friends in Low Places, Once Bitten Twice Shy, Rockin' in the Free World, Long Cool Woman, Livin' After Midnight, Nothing But a Good Time, Your Mama Don't Dance, Talk Dirty To Me, and more. Kevin (drummer) does a lot of standards: Shooting Star, Tush, Sharp Dressed Man, Sweet Home Alabama, Youngblood, Keep Pushin', Mustang Sally, Before You Accuse Me, Can't Get Enough, American Band, and more. We will always help set up and tear down. Thanks for looking.
