This is a beautiful and fun purple dano convertible. I do not know much about the history of this guitar, as I bought it used on ebay over a decade ago. It has not been played much in that time. Because it's a floating bridge Danelectro, it could benefit greatly from a set up after purchase. The volume and tone pots are very lightly dirty. It sounds lovely clean and vintage like a Danelectro should.
When I purchased this guitar originally, the person shipping it was not knowledgeable on packing guitars to ship, and the headstock was broken off. They reimbursed me enough to pay a skilled luthier in my city to fix it, and he did an incredible job. I have included the repaired split in the photos. I truly do believe the repair was fantastic and does not effect the playability of the guitar. Regardless of my confidence in this repair, I am fully considering the historic damage in the price. Any intonation issues could be addressed by upgrading the bridge, but as is it's all stock the way I bought it.
