If you'd prefer, I'll split to provide 6-8 plants from 1 hosta for $10/ea plant (bagged not potted) = $80.
Ideally, new splits should be soaked in water and root starter for 5-10" before you plant.
Planting as is for a mature specimen hosta: Score 3-4 vertical slits of root ball with sharp knife to loosen root ball and to separate roots.
Hosta 'Royal Standard' features sweetly scented white flowers on 30–40″ stems in August and September above cool, pale green foliage. An excellent cut flower.
NOTE: Add Ironite Plus granules all-purpose plant food (or similar) for a darker, richer colored green. REED PACKAGE LABEL.
