Samsung 55" TV , bought new 2013, well-kept but with issue.
It has not been any problem lately however sometimes upon turning it ON or when changing volume level, it would keep repeating the startup process until the screen display finally becomes stable. I have tried resetting to factory settings, also tried applying updates for this model, that resolved the issue however only for a period of time. Unplugging it overnight would also work but also not a permanent fix. It works without issues when watching DVD from a DVD player.
