These are wholesale trade-in vehicles. They run and drive, but they have NOT been inspected by Seelye Auto Group or by me. It is 100% the buyerβs responsibility to inspect the vehicle before purchase. You are welcome to bring a mechanic or take the vehicle to one for an inspection before buying.

In addition to the advertised vehicle price, the following Michigan fees and taxes apply:
β Documentation fee: 5% of the vehicle sale price, capped at $280
β Michigan title fee: $15
β CVR electronic filing fee: $34
β Michigan sales tax: 6% of the vehicle price plus the documentation fee
β Plate transfer fee: $15 if transferring a current plate already in your name
β New plate fee: based on the vehicle and your birth date

Documentation fee: $100
CVR fee: $34
Title fee: $15
Sales tax: $126
Total before plate: $2,275

Q: What is wrong with the car? Is it in good shape?
A: I do not know, and Iβm not going to guess. I am not a mechanic, and these vehicles are not fully inspected by me or by Seelye Auto Group. In some cases, if I notice something obvious right away, such as a dead battery, worn brakes, a loud exhaust, or another issue that needs attention before I can reasonably sell the vehicle, I may address it. But I do not perform a full mechanical inspection, and I do not want to give false or misleading information about a vehicleβs overall condition. It is 100% the buyerβs responsibility to inspect the vehicle and determine its condition before purchase. That is how this wholesale process works.
Q: Can I have a mechanic inspect it?
A: Absolutely. In fact, I encourage it. You are welcome to bring a mechanic with you or take the vehicle to one before purchasing.
Q: Why is it so cheap?
A: I have sold vehicles at auction for years, and my goal with these wholesale trade-ins is to make lower-priced trade-in vehicles available directly to the public instead of sending them straight to auction. I am not trying to retail these vehicles like a traditional dealership car. In many cases, I price them close to what I believe they would bring at auction so buyers have access to lower-priced trade-in vehicles that normally would not be available for retail purchase at a traditional dealership.
Q: Can I negotiate on price?
A: No. My pricing is firm. I price these vehicles aggressively and believe they are among the best values in the market. If you would like, I am happy to compare my pricing with similar vehicles currently for sale.
Q: Can I put a deposit down or have you hold it?
A: No holds and no deposits. These vehicles are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. The first person to show up ready to buy the vehicle gets it.
