PRICE JUST REDUCED TO $3000! BUY THE MOTOR AND THE TRAILER...LIKE GETTING THE BOAT AND ALL THE EXTRAS FOR FREE! I have for sale a very rare 1956 Century Seaflyte 16' SOLID (nope, no rotted out mess here!) mahogany runabout, a completely and professionally re-built 1958 Kiekhaefer Mercury Super Thunderbolt 45 hp outboard ( another rare piece), a 1994 Triton boat trailer, lots and lots of extra parts, a full upholstery roll of Naugahyde brand marine vinyl (enough to do a marina full of these boats), manuals, reams of research, books, and you name it! Heck, I even have the lights and flags for the bow!

The wood is in fantastic shape! I used penetrating epoxy on it after I stripped off 60+ years of 5-6 coats of paint! I worked with the Interlux brand of paint materials and followed their instructions on exactly how to finish the outside of the boat! I still have most of those materials. I have all the patterns for the inside of the boat, but was planning on replacing it all with new wood as they weathered over the years.

The motor was re-built by a fellow by the name of Stuart Fillinger, also known as "Mr. Mercury" by other outboard motor fanatics. He oiled it up and it is ready for the water! I have all the proper paints for the motor and it just needs some paint to make it show ready! The Super Thunderbolt is a rare, 1 year motor and it is really neat looking with all the chrome!

The trailer is a '94 Triton model which I am told is a really good trailer. It's also in great shape, but could probably use new tires due to their age. I have one brand new one mounted on a rim.

I've had restorers help me determine the value of all the stuff I have with this project. I have been told that the boat is worth about $3500, the motor is worth about $2000 with the fresh re-build, and the trailer is worth between $500 and $1000. I'm not looking for anything close to those numbers, I just want it to find a new home with someone who knows how to finish it! I'm primarily into working with cars, and have never taken on a boat project before! I've done what I can, but it is time to realize that I am over my head with this project and as much as I love my boat, I want someone to finish it and have a lot of fun with it! I have so much extra equipment that came with the boat, that frankly, I don't even know what the equipment is used for! I've started a new car project and simply want to use the funds to buy the parts I need for that project over the next few months. I know cars and it's time to go back to projects where I know what I'm doing. I'm willing to let ALL the boat stuff I have to go for $3000, which should certainly be a fair amount for the buyer! No, I'm not a bank or a credit union, so I am only interested in a cash offer. I'm simply looking to free up my investment in the project. I am willing to consider a REASONABLE offer, but no, I don't want any trades, as I have plenty of projects already! If you are familiar with these boats, you will see that it really doesn't need much to finish it! Easy winter project for the right person! I don't think this project is going to last very long at this price, so please get in touch with me and come out an see this cool boat project! I'm going to start putting all the pieces back together for the boat, so now is the time to grab this project since the price won't go down in the spring!
