Very nice large Ironsides oil painting with a modernistic oak frame and signed by the artist RAZE in the lower right corner. While I didn't find alot of information on the artist named Raze I did find other oil paintings on ebay with the exact same signature. Aproximate date of the painting based on the frame and what my dad told me about it is prewar and somewhere in the 1940's. It has been one family owned since it belonged to my Grandmother and than was given to mother and father and I got it from them. It does have what look's like maybe some water stains in the painting but other than that is in very good condition. The outside of the frame measures 26.5"W X 41"H and the inside measures 21.5"W X 36"H.
