Original Acrylic Painting by artist, Rex Schneider, on heavy board approximately 20 x 24 inches. I've added two views of the reverse side.
Exact date unknown but at least 55 years old - about 1965.
Although the artist did not identify the portrait, I call it MAE BUSCH, actress under Erich Von Stroheim and popular character comedienne in many of the best Laurel & Hardy shorts and features.
“The ever popular Mae Bush” - as Jackie Gleason joyously boasted.
The painting is signed by the artist (see second image for closeup of signature).
